Fun with Hangars
Folks came to visit, dad told me about this design for a tv antenna. Works way better than my $50 store bought antenna. We are now recieving pbs. Total cost $7.27
Question is, does it work better than my $3 antenna? Or at least, better than my antenna would work if I have the digital to analog converter I need to use it? I assume you've got a converter hooked up or a newer TV than me?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWQhlmJTMzw for how to build. yes I am mostly sure it will be better, expeciallly if you arnt recieving stations you should be recieving. the antenna is directional, so it works particularly well when all signals are comming frome the same direction.(probably a tall mountain overlooking la.
http://www.fcc.gov/mb/engineering/maps/ to figure this out.
The 75 300 ohm amp coaxel thing radioshack for $6ish, rest from scraps. takes 30 minutes to build.
