Mr. resident, tear out this grass.

Salt lake needs more clean water. As the protected watershead boundary's expand, a reliable fuzzy bike partner is banned from parts of my favorite trail.

Staying Morally Straight, Boy Scout Memorial, Washington D.C.

A very confusing memorial. Check your six, scout! Glad they had the presense of mind not to include a bronze van and a lolipop.

Fishing, a Story of the Usual, then Magic then Heartbreak.

I went down to Atlanta to fish on Scott' lake. We were trolling for bass when he started to reel in this small bass. It was foul hooked a little and we saw it 30 feet behind the boat. 2 seconds later we were very confused. The fish surfaced again and it was HUGE! The 1 pound bass had turned into a 9 pound bass. Its head popped up one more time about 12 feet from the boat and we could just see a tail of the original bass poking out of the monster's mouth. With no hooks in it the 9 pounder had had enough and let go. Scott reeled in the fish and below here it is.
We measured and the bass came in a little under 11 inches. he had crush marks where the 9 pounder had clamped him. I have never seen a bass fishing over 6 pounds and a 9 pounder would have been quite a trophy even for Scott. Neither Scott nor me have ever heard of a bass going after another bass that had been caught. I suspect Scott is going to go after this 9 pound white whale all summer.
