My Airport Library

I know the idea is to buy magazines, but they only take 10 minutes to read one. I suspect I spend 100 hours a year here catching up on the latest magazines between flights.

I like picking my nose too!

Local Blogger Blogs About His Own Blog.

Seen here in this file photo Local blogger Chester Frantz wrote on his blog "I have a counter on my blog now." Mr Frantz then went on to explain, "Once I get 50,000 hits I am gonna sell advertising space on my blog." He then admitted that it may take some time as most the hits are his own.

Schadenfreude

A german word meaning
pleasure taken from observing the misery of another.

Yogert +Chili = a deadly combination.

With a crockpot full of leftover chili and a sale on tubs of yogurt, I ate chili 2 out of 3 meals for a few days and had Yogurt for desert. Shannon demonstrated "limited enthusiasm" for my diet choice.

Local biking enthusiast overhauls bike before start of bike season.

With this much snow still on the bike trails

A local biker was a little disappointed when the parts he needed were actually in stock at the shop "what is the point of overhauling your bike pre-season when the parts you need are readily available? I just wish I would have had to wait 2-3 weeks for some part to justify this early overhaul"

the Japanese are known for making good automobiles
But which is it Honda? 75 lbs. evenly distributed (right side of roof rack)

Or is it 100 lbs evenly distributed? (left side of roof rack)
Apparently Honda likes to hedge their bets.

Tourist amazes locals at the skate cave

Durango Dave pulls off a a hand plant as an amazed local Scott Peters looks on

A baking trifecta

for the 3 people who are following this blog, you may recall Becca's bannana bread and Sara's oatmeal cookies. on two previous tours. I had little hope for Delicious baked goods on today's tour to gobblers knob area. Then Billy pulls this little jessy out! baked by his loved one Kate! Quality was excellent but quantity was disappointing. BAKING TRIFECTA? Mission accomplished.
Billy likes to make sure his snacks and his snowboard have the same name.

Canal street, how do they do it?

this watch was $50 and lasted 8 years or a penny a day. Finally became unreliable when the "ten" mark let loose and would randomly jam minute hand.

we will see how long this $40 watch last (price has come down)
How are they are able to sell $1,300 omegas for $50 on canal street? the only thing I can figure out is since they have no actual building their overhead must be very low.

wall street, why wont they do it?

I watched the windows for 30 minutes, no jumpers.

back to the skate cave

ya gotta pull pretty hard to get out ot this 2 foot ramp
scott looks like he is enjoying playing the guitar, so peaceful and plesant
ya gotta pull pretty hard to get out of this micro ramp thanks scott for letting me rip em off your site

they say that flying airplanes is hours and hours of boredom followed by minutes of shear terror.

and a warm cup of coffee
I prefer the bordoom to the terror
