A baking trifecta
for the 3 people who are following this blog, you may recall Becca's bannana bread and Sara's oatmeal cookies. on two previous tours. I had little hope for Delicious baked goods on today's tour to gobblers knob area. Then Billy pulls this little jessy out! baked by his loved one Kate! Quality was excellent but quantity was disappointing. BAKING TRIFECTA? Mission accomplished.

High quality baked goods adds value to touring partner
Today I went for a tour with Dave and Scott. This is the second time a touring buddy has brought me world class baked goods from their loved ones. On a previous tour Matt brought some of the best cookies i have ever had, Sara's m&m peanut butter granola cookies. On this one Scott brought along Becca's bannana bread. it was the best bread ever! Scott cuts off a slice at Soilders, mill creek click vid to watch.

Canal street, how do they do it?
this watch was $50 and lasted 8 years or a penny a day. Finally became unreliable when the "ten" mark let loose and would randomly jam minute hand.
How are they are able to sell $1,300 omegas for $50 on canal street? the only thing I can figure out is since they have no actual building their overhead must be very low.
